Learning to be discerning

Listening to Follow Him podcast with Hank Smith and John Bytheway and guest Dr Kenneth Alford who happens to me the father of a friend of mine from the bell choir in Utah. It's interesting to hear the war stories and experiences of church growth even during war.

Covid is still a menace and we are still home protecting our family. We only got to hear about 10 minutes of audio from church yesterday.

Feeling a little guilt about not returning to church, but I want to keep my family safe. It's hard to get past my anxiety and listen to the spirit. Still learning to be discerning.

Record keeping and gratitude

I have been receiving gentle nudges to return to journal keeping. Years after my last post, we now have 7 children: Josh, Zach, Allie, Miley, Charlotte, Kim and Jarom. Kim and Jarom were born in Georgia where we have lived now for nearly 10 years. I no longer wish to use social media and figured this would be a good place to pick up.

I'm grateful for record keeping and for the lessons I can save this way for remembrance and future learning. I'm thankful for my testimony of this church and the lessons learned from records of the saints.

I guess that is where I'll leave this for now.
