Once again, Chaz's car has had to go into the shop. We were referred to a 'great' mechanic and he says he hopes to live up to that so keep your fingers crossed. We are still working on escalating this situation with ebay because we really were given a misrepresentation of the vehicle.

Our little princess, Allie, has discoverd that she likes things around her neck! If we can't find her she's usually found a cord somewhere and has trapped herself. Dangerous....I know. Like I've always said, if you need your house babyproofed, just call on my kids to come over and they'll find anything!

Zachary's obsession with batteries and magnets has now turned to keys. Not normal sized keys though....small keys! He's so upset when he loses one:(

carpet crisis

After still trying to get the milk smell out of the carpet downstairs from Josh's adventure, I now am trying to remove some bright pink from the carpet in the boys' room. Apparently Zachary had some Laffy Taffy that we did not discover until a few days had passed. Our carpet is warranted against stains so we can get it replaced but we really don't want the hassle of moving everything out.

We have inherited another cat...making that 4 total! Some younger girls from church came looking for a new home for their friend's cat who could no longer keep it. She is finally starting to come out from under the bed to play with our other cats a little.

I forgot to mention last time that I accomplished the task of changing the thermostat in my car. I was quite proud and we now have heat again!

We also joined Gold's Gym so that I could take advantage of their water aerobics while the kids have the daycare. I'm so excited! The kids are loving it too.

Update on the kids

JOSHUA--
I'm doing Josh's in red since that's his favorite color. He has started to return to his normal routine and following the rules of our home much better now than when we first returned from our trip to Indiana. I think he thought he grew up a ton while we were there and has attempted to do many things on his own. His biggest achievement -- or in my opinion, his biggest mess -- was when he made his own chocolate milk by pouring the milk into the Nesquik container. He was quite proud...I am still trying to clean it up:P He will resume preschool this week and is looking forward to learning about the weather and having show and tell. He always gives me a hard time about going but his teachers assure me that he has a blast while he is there.

ZACHARY--
Still trying to be like his big brother Zachary has to now have Lightning McQueen race car underwear over his diaper. He loves to be with his sister mostly and keeps her entertained quite nicely. Zach is pretty much a happy camper and if he's ever sad, all I usually need to do is turn on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse that I have saved on the DVR and that cheers him up. He has been quite concerned this weekend about Ammon, the little boy we take care of during the week. He will all of sudden come running to me asking where he is(on the days that he's not here). He's so worried but it's pretty cute. Zach still likes to carry every tiny thing he can. He especially loves batteries and we haven't been able to find a replacement just yet for those.

ALLIE--
We had to take Allie to the doctor this week due to a cough that seemed like was not getting better. I guess it just sounds worse than it is. We just wanted to make sure that it wasn't in her lungs. She was having a hard time sleeping so that's what prompted us to get her in. We started giving her Benadryl and that seemed to help with the sleeping part. She is still not walking yet but her dad saw her take a few steps and turn around in a circle! She is just loving being an explorer right now and makes it known when she doesn't like her brothers taking something away from her.

just testing

I was inspired by my stepmother to try this out. I have been thinking of having something online to keep my families updated on our life out here in Utah. This is a great way to do it and a great way for me to keep somewhat of a journal as well.....especially for the kids. I will include individual updates on them in a moment.
